As a self-taught woodworker, I have first hand experience of the profound impact that learning hands-on skills and techniques can provide to those having experienced hardship or trauma.
Learning woodwork skills can empower and help folks regain confidence in their abilities. I’m bringing the skills I’ve learnt, and the methods I’ve developed, to the table in the hopes of sharing a similar experience with others.
Learning a new skill is empowering & fun, and can reestablish confidence.
The proceeds from these sessions will cover the cost of participation of individuals that could otherwise not afford to attend, but would benefit from learning the skills on offer. These opportunities will be offered through various not-for-profit, community based initiatives.
The next workshop will be held onJuly 21st (full day) and
July 24th (evening). This course will leave you
feeling confident on a range of power tools,
and you’ll be able to take home
your own artwork
(approx. 500mm X 500mm in size). Suitable for folks with absolutely no experience, or people wanting to expand their woodworking knowledge. BOOK NOW
